Project Management
- Marketed, developed, deployed, and publicized an Asia-wide search system using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 that crawled, indexed, and displayed results from multiple data sources.
- Project Manager for global deployment of Groove Server 2007 for a multi-national organization.

- Performed in-depth network assessments of existing infrastructure at a wide variety of clients. Team Leadership and Business Management
- Team leader for a variety of multi-phase, multi-year infrastructure improvement, business expansion, and business process redesign projects. Contracted as the outsourced technical lead, organized and directed in-house technical staff, custom software writers, other consultants, and vendors to plan and execute the projects.
- Acting as outsourced IT Manager, prepared and presented annual IT plans to the leadership team. Planning included outlining investments need to support business goals, identification of new technology trends that could influence the business, budgets for phased implementation, budgets for on-going costs, budgets for planned system retirements, and a risk analysis of current business practices.
Network Infrastructure and Exchange
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist SQL 2005; Microsoft Certified System Engineer for Windows 2003; originally obtained MCSE for 2000 in September of 2001.
- Installed and maintained SQL 2000, SQL 2005, and SQL 2008 systems.
- Planned and implemented two Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 migrations, and dozens of Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003 systems for a wide variety of small and large clients.
- Planned, installed, and maintained high availability Exchange systems including multiple front end, clustered servers, and SAN backed Exchange servers.
- Deployed and maintained network settings, automated software installations, and controlled access to network resources via Group Policy Objects (GPO), VBScript, and shell scripts.
- Installed and maintained IIS, Apache, Java Enterprise, and ColdFusion web servers.
- Installed, configured and maintain Fortigate, WatchGuard, SonicWall, and ISA firewalls to support single site and multi-site networks with a mix of VPN and dedicated point to point routing.
- Wrote knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and planning documents.
