Welcome to my personal home page. My name
is Matthew Damp and I am an IT Project Manager
working from Tokyo, Japan. My background is
somewhat odd since I started my IT related
career as a side-effect of my work as an AutoCAD
specialist in architectural offices. Back then,
you had to be a computer-oriented person to be
successful with CAD. I became a self-taught
systems engineer concentrating on Microsoft solutions. I moved from architecture into small
business technology consulting and now to a
global company with offices in almost every time
zone.
I currently
living in near Kaihin Makuhari (海浜幕張) which is located in
Chiba Prefecture(千葉) just to the east of Tokyo.
This website is just a place to park my favorite
tips, tricks, scripts, and how-to articles that
I have created over the years. Hopefully, these
will be useful for other techs and IT types
struggling with Microsoft software.
